Cool Bleph is a doctor-led Erbium:YAG laser treatment for the delicate eyelid area, with strength adjusted to the degree of skin change and available downtime.
What it may treat
- Crepey upper or lower eyelid skin
- Fine lines around the eyes
- Mild laxity and early hooding
Who it may be suitable for
Adults with mild to moderate eyelid skin changes who want non-surgical resurfacing. It is not a substitute for surgery when there is significant excess skin or a functional eyelid problem.
Possible risks and side effects
Redness, swelling, tenderness, itching and crusting can occur. Less common risks include infection, prolonged pigment change, delayed healing and scarring. The eye area requires specialist assessment and protective measures.
Downtime and return to work
A lighter course may cause 24–48 hours of redness and swelling. A stronger session may involve up to 7 days of visible recovery. Many people return to work in 2–5 days depending on treatment strength and swelling.
How many sessions?
A common lighter plan is three sessions about a month apart; a single stronger session may be appropriate for selected patients. Your clinician may recommend one to three treatments.
Important: These timings and session numbers are general guides, not guarantees. A medical consultation is required to assess the eyelids, vision-related history, suitability, downtime and risks.
